Waverley is perhaps the youngest horse in the World with this high a concentration of Negatraz blood, and is exactly what one would expect from a pedigree intensely linebred to both Negatraz and Wilga, the granddam of Comet. Wilga was described by Roman Pankiewicz as a "mare of exquisite dignity and refinement, strikingly handsome, big, with faultless conformation and a beautiful golden bay coat color - the most perfect specimen of the purebred Arabian mare."

*Wieza, a granddaughter of Wilga, distinguished herself in Poland for her ability to produce exceptional race horses, as well as a line of international show champions, including her daughter Wiorsta and granddaughter Wizyta. *Wieza was purchased at an advanced age by Patterson Arabians specifically for the purpose of breeding her to Negatraz. The result is the lovely Werwa, who four generations later, exhibits Wilga’s characteristic exquisite dignity and refinement as well as faultless conformation, a testament to the genetic consistency of this female family.

Waverly’s sire Andrzejevo comes from the same foundation. His dam *Andorra is also a granddaughter of Wilga, and was one of many *Pietuszok daughters that was imported by the Pattersons. A big, rangy mare of exquisite frame, and with true Park action, *Andorra was purchased solely for the purpose of being bred to Negatraz - a cross that produced several Halter, English Pleasure and Park champions including Andreanov and Andrzejevo. Not only did Andrzejevo distinguish himself as a Halter and English Pleasure Champion, he has produced champions that are in turn producing Champions. As an example, his daughter Zolina produced the 2008 US National Champion Senior Mare Maggdalina.

With an ultra dry and exotic head, set off by large, luminous black eyes, and with tight and finely sculpted ears and extreme presence, one cannot help but think Negatraz when looking at Waverley. Waverley draws on the strength of his two powerful and supremely athletic granddams *Wieza and *Andorra, adding height, motion, and extreme athletic ability. Waverley is a rare individual, with exceptional conformation and a seamless Kuhailan pedigree - giving him great genetic potential for the highest levels of performance competition.
