Cerrah is a dry and refined mare who is very much a reflection of her triple Comet heritage.  She calls to mind such bay beauties as Arba, Warmia, Eunice, *Salvia and *Murcja.  Her forehand is particularly arresting.  Her neck is long and slender with a beautiful throat latch, a hallmark trait for most *Carycyn bred horses.  *Carycyn is the sire of Cerrah's dam Homestead Cerycz. When one adds in close crosses to *Bask, Gdansk and *Bandos it is no wonder that Cerrah carries such elegance.  The fact that she traces in the tail female line to one of the Golden Crosses in American/Polish breeding, that of *Wiraz on the Arax daughter *Rokitka adds reassurance about her breeding potential.  The first result of this cross was Cerrah's ancestress Four Winds Kitkat who was a Reserve National Champion Futurity Mare.  Cerrah is a foundation mare in every sense of the word from the standpoint of pedigree, production and her foursquare underpinning.
